2” OEM suspension upgrade

I’m about to add the 2” suspension upgrade to my 2019 Z71.  It currently has the 20” LTZ rims and 275/60/20 Dueler AT tires. Does anyone know if a slightly larger tire will fit after the suspension lift? My understanding is it lifts 2” front and back to mimic the trail boss suspension. I would like at least a 275/65/20 tire. If anyone has done the oem lift and has pics I’d love to see them.

Hello

Suggest you not lift it, but add the adjustable Bilstein 5100 series shock/struts

Better ride, front end is (adjustable height) up to 2”

BFG Ko2 will work in that size

I have the Trail Boss which already has that suspension lift.  I am running a 33.5x12.5 mud tire on a 20x9 wheel with a 0 mm offset.  There is a very slight rub at 100% full lock.  If you go with a less wide tire as mentioned, you should be able to fit a larger tire as long as the offset isn't too negative on any aftermarket wheel.

I’ve emailed Bilstein if they were available for the 2019 yet. I’ve heard nothing back.

The GM upgrade still include the Rancho shocks, which in my opinion are crap.

Better off going with the Bilstein shocks

Yeah I don't understand how a $50,000 truck comes with Rancho's... or how people put RC stuff (I guess the vertex CO's look OK but still) on their truck they just dropped 50 grand on. Like you said, Bilsteins 5100's aren't that expensive and are 10x the shock...

I added the 2" OE lift and an additional 1' level up front to reduce the rake.  I have 35X11.50R20 Ridge Grapplers on the OE 20" wheels. I have NO rubbing at all and it rides great, and looks great!

Isn't the high country using Magnaride Shocks? Magna ride is a more controlled ride. There is less compression and rebound than the Rancho's. Thus a more controlled drive. I found with the Rancho's is that they have low compression and high rebound.

Thus more body roll and reduced handling.

Just my 2 cents!

Got the PN# on that OE lift?

All you can do is laugh when you see people putting RC lift/suspension kits on a 50k truck
