Any tips on how you connected the LC2i with your Bose stereo baldor18? I have 2019 AT4 with Bose and a sub and amp out of my old gmc and want to get installed.

Yes, under the passenger side, under the carpet theres a thick harness open those up and i used the yellow black as a negative and the solid yellow as a + and made a little speaker cable Y to hook it up to both speaker inputs on the LC2i and it works great. the other option is the other twisted pair of cables on that same harness is for the back speaker you can use that one as  your second set

Somewhat off topic, but sounds like this group could help.  Started installing a small sub/amp combo.  Tapped in to that twist pair yellow and yellow/black in the passenger side kick panel area.

After install all I have nearly zero sound from the rear door speakers (factory Bose set up). Extremely quiet, almost nothing but highs.  If I fade it to the rear only, there’s almost no sound at all from the system.  Fronts still sound great with no change in sound.

Thoughts?

What are you installing? Did you throw a signal processor inline? Like the post above he put in an LC2i, which you would at least need to accommodate the sub/amp.

I recently found out about a company in this thread but wanted to shed some light on the products they have.

To avoid any splicing of the OEM wires you could order this:

https://lljcustoms.com/store?olsPage=products%2Foem-loop-harnesses

I actually ordered this plug and play system with a LC6.1200

https://lljcustoms.com/store?olsPage=products%2Fthe-boss

After watching their youtube install video:

The ease of install really does it for me. I'm just tired of splicing into my vehicles wiring.

I'm about to replace the front set with the Kenwood Excelon kfc-xp6902c. I will let you know how it sounds. It comes with their replacement 2 3/4. Probably the same one you saw on crutchfield. The KFC-6903c comes with a 3.5 inch and says it's a replacement for Dodge and Toyota but the shop is recommending I put in that kit. They will mod the hole for the 3.5. It costs the same and you get a better speaker. They are doing a Trail Boss now with the same setup so I am going to listen to it before I have mine done.

Did you get your kit? I ordered this with an lc4.800 and took a month to get it, several phone calls, and one PayPal dispute. After install, I had to switch 2 speaker wires from 2 channels as the harness was wired incorrectly. Following to see how yours ends up.

Got my kit, overall I'm pleased. Didn't include the sub quick disconnect pigtail harness but they're sending out a new one (not using it anyway). Didn't realize I would have to do all the settings on the lc6 either. It's been awhile so that took a long time. All the wiring seems correct sound from all the speakers on the right location lol. Anyway know how to access the tweeters? Before I break something trying to get to it.

You can make major improvements to the sound quality by fading the speakers farther to the back, boosting the bass, lowering the treble and turning up the volume...

It appears the sound system heavily favors the front to the point the sound is thin and tone is lost...You recoup some of this by fading to the rear and adjusting bass/treble.

Im still installing a sub within a few weeks but the adjustments make the current system bearable.

I just had my sound system installed. I installed

JL C2-075CT SILK TWEETER

JL C2-650X 6.5 COAX SPEAKER

C2-690TX 6x9 COAX SPEAKER

2 AMPS

JL XD400/4V2 4 CHANNEL CLASS D 100X4 AMP

JL XD600/1V2 1 CHANNEL 600 AMP

JL FIX-86 OEM INTEGRATION 8CH.IN/4CH OUT + SUBWOOFER

VOLUME CONTROL

CUSTOM BOX

JL 13TW5V2-2 13.5" 2-OHM SUBWOOFER

I am very happy with the sound. I had the 2 amps fit under my front passenger seat and the subwoofer under the back seat it only took up half the back under the seat.

Can you please take a pic of the 2 amps under your front seat? When I looked under the front seat as an option for amps, I thought the amps would block the air con vents...

Sure thing you can only really see the sides but I will do my best. They should be up tomorrow.
