I just pit in the kicker box and changed the door speakers to JBL and the dash to Kenwoods sounds much better. CTB non bose…

Was all the wiring and directions included when you bought the Kicker box? Was it fairly easy to install?

Thanks.

Waiting on LLJ to start my

Install. Pic attached is a box made for 14-18 years. Dual 12” damn near perfect fit

will post more pics of build progress

Decided to continue the build as I wait for my LLJ harness.

Removed rear seat and decided to relocate the Power inverted and Bose amps to the sides. Was able to fabricate mounting plates made out of 1/8” thick abs plastic sheets and utilize a few pre existing bolts while needing to add a few riv nuts to support a bracket hanging down from the upper metal.

Lc7i, power & ground distributions blocks simply 3M double sided taped since they are fairly light.

Skar 1500W feeding two 12” CT SOUNDS TROPO dual 4’ohm Wired to 1 ohm.

CT sounds AT-125.4D amp gonna be feeding ct sounds 6x9 meso for front doors and 6.5 meso for rear doors.

Sound deadened majority of rear wall because I removed all foam material behind seat.

its definitely tight. But you can make it work. And looks so clean with everything hidden

Anyone have a pic of the Bose sub thats in the console?  I was wondering how hard it would be to put an 8" or 10" inside the console in a non Bose truck.

Some outstanding information on this thread.  Besides having reception issues, I am sorry I didn't get the Bose factory system but have a question.  I can get my hands on a Bose amp for a good price.  What all do I have to do to my existing standard receiver to accept the Bose Amp.  Is there a harness I need?  I am replacing all 6 speakers with JBL's from Crutchfield so hopefully the sound improves.  Thanks again for all this info.

I don't think the Bose amp will work well with aftermarket speakers. Believe Bose speakers are somewhere around 1 ohm. I know I was told aftermarket speakers would not work with my Bose amp. I had Focal Flax 6 1/2" speakers installed with Audio Control DSP6-1200. I built a down firing box with a IDQ10. Drastic improvement

You could send the Ethernet bus signals and low speed gmlan data circuit into a Bose amplifiers X4 connector on the proper pin locations but the issue is that the Bose amp doesn't have the circuitry for radio controls like volume up/down....power on/off etc. I just don't see how you could get that to work,I wouldn't even try it.You're better off just upgrading what you have with aftermarket gear.
