Windshield replaced - now radio is nothing but static (???)

Inside passenger side base of window. Someone on here changed  his antenna and showed pictures or video of this.   And it looked to me it was a straight run,  no couplings or line interruptions.

Ther is a connection part way to the radio just changed one out, you can not get to it from the panel near the windshield the Xm connection is  under that panel

Also make sure the antenna mask is tight they may have taken it off as to not bend it on install and forget to tighen it back

What was the reason you had to change it out? How can you get to it then? Where is the connection part you are talking about?

I don't see how a windshield replacement would affect the antenna/radio, unless they removed the mast for some reason. I had my windshield replaced last year..

Check the rear view mirror wires coming down from the headliner.

Has your warranty expired?  I'd take it to my dealer and tell them the radio isn't working.  The timing of the windshield replacement could be a coincidence.  If not, they said they'd pay, correct?

Seems old but I'll add the bump cause I'm having a similar issue with my steering wheel controls. 

 

I found this on YouTube, could be your culprit.
