What did you pay for your truck?

Howdy everyone!

2020 Sierra 1500 AT4 - 6.2L

Crew Cab / Short Bed

Tech Package

AT4 Premium

Driver Alert II

20" Wheels

Satin Steel Metallic

MSRP: $65,955

Sale Price: $52,897

Out The Door: $53,800

This is my first post on the gm-trucks forum. My last GM truck was an '85 Chevy K20 and this AT4 makes it look like it was built by cavemen during the stoneage!

I've been watching the used market for AT4s for the last year. I kept expecting 2019 models to get in the 45k range but then COVID-19 happened and used trucks are suddenly now more expensive than brand new ones. Go figure.

Thanks! I wanted $10k off. But I knew that was unrealistic due to absolutely zero inventory in my local area for like a month. I was totally expecting my salesman to say. Look. You ordered this truck back in February you have first dibs. But this is the price we are going to sell it for. Just the $5000 customer cash. No further discounts. Because there are 6 other people that want to buy it. But after their first lowest rock bottom selling price. And a little humorous haggling over 2 days. With absolutely no pressure to buy from the dealership. We agreed on a number that was within $1000 of what I thought was a fair price. I got a case of oil filters. 2 spare wiper blades. 1 gallon of green rain-x. A Chevy fleece jacket. Extra keyless entry transmitter batteries. A hood/bug deflector. A set of window vents. As part of the deal. I tried to get the huge cardboard Silverado that was in the middle of the showroom. But. The sales manager finally said no to my ever growing list of “extras”.

What dealership?

joe holland in wv, doing a dealer trade for it. I think I know where they're getting it from, and it's being delivered to the dealership this week and it's a 1gc vin(indiana plant i think). Only have to wait on it, then find some trailboss wheels and 18 inch tires. will probably sell my 20s.. i really like the black/blue look.

You could get SLT with Premium Plus package for only a few $ more and get waaaay more bells and whistles.  Howard Bentley in Albertville, AL or Laurabuickgmc.com near St. Louis have the best prices by far!

I closed a deal this week.  I bought a new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST Z71 crew cab with the 3.0 liter 6-cylinder turbo-diesel engine.

The sticker price was exactly $60,000 (weird, I know) and I received a $9500 discount. That includes a $5000 Chevrolet rebate and $4500 in dealer discount. I though that was pretty good in the current climate. Rebates were better in April and May but diesel inventory has been scarce all along. I also negotiated what I considered fair trade-in values on my 2 other vehicles and here in MA that saved me over $2000 in sales tax.
