Who was your salesman? I haven't really talked to anyone yet yup there just drove through a few times so far.

I went straight to the GM. I knew that I would end up crushing the soul of some sales guy with my negotiating so I skipped all of that. He later assigned me to Justin Mills to do paperwork.

I used the spreadsheet posted above to get them to the number I wanted.

There was a truck similar to this one at Dunn County GMC by OKC. That’s the only two I could find surrounding me within a reasonable drive.

I get what leasing is, I just don’t understand the why behind it. Similar to renting a house vs buying one.

Difference being homes generally appreciate on a yearly basis while vehicles generally depreciate. So a person who leases would be one that never keeps a vehicle longer than 36 months and also wants to have an exact depreciation amount locked in. There can also be additional tax benefits for those that use the vehicle in a business. Also people will take the savings from the lease and invest it in the market with hopes they make money there rather than having it depreciate while paying on a vehicle they do not intend to keep.  I am a 10 to 15 year owner guy, so obviously leasing doesn’t make sense for me.

Hey folks,

Looking at a LT Trail Boss. Sticker 55,465. Dealer says they can do $7104 off ($48,361). Can I do better? Thx

Very likely you can.

I agree. I think you can do a few $K more somewhere else. I got my $55K RST for $43,600 back in March.

When was this?  I bought a 6.2 LTZ Z71 $62k sticker for about $55k OTD in December last year.  Just curious.  That included the Costco year end rebate.

February this year and that was not with Costco.

OK ended with Trail Boss LT

55,465

After rebates 49,670 (3K below Invoice)

No tax. 499 registration and doc fees.

OTD 48500.

Those taxes are stupid.
But best picture I could get in parking.

I got 11K off MSRP for my Trail Boss a week ago.

My friend who bought same day got 12K off his RST.

Yeah, the TBs are selling way hotter than GM expected. For having almost the same MSRP as the RSTs, they aren’t cutting deals on the TBs like they are the RSTs because they know the buying demand is stronger for the TBs.
