For those of you with a 6" lift and larger tires (preferable 35's) how much of a loss in MPG are you currently noticing? And how does the stock gearing feel afterwards?

I have gone 900 miles since installing the lift and around town I have averaged 14.6 MPG

I only rub when I turn a full left and that’s slightly the mud flap was kept. They did trim the inner side of the mud flap a bit because tire would rub but there was no bumper trimming.

There must be something off with your wheel offset.   I used 20" fuel wheels and there isn't any situation where I could make the tires rub.  Can turn the wheel all the way in either direction and bounce up on a curb, doesn't come close.   Which is nice as my last truck rubbed all the time.

I have the same truck and setup except I kept factory wheels. I have zero rub.

I have 35’s with the 3.23 gear ratio.

Really? What offset are you running and what size tires do you have?

Not sure of the offset, but I could measure later this week.   The tires are 35" Nitto Grapplers

Here’s the only pix I took Sunday after I finished install. Back looks higher but it’s my driveway. It’s pretty leveled.

so far it seems spacers are only needed if you're trying to run a -18/-19 offset on a 20x10" wheel. If you find a wheels with a -24/-25 offset then no spacers are needed.

I'm not sure if it's as much of an issue on the 22's. I have 22x10, -25 offset, no spacers. I do have some rubbing but my tires are also wider than most being essentially a 35x13.0r22. My right side clears fully but the left/driver side has a slight rub in the rear wheel well. I only had to do minor trimming so I'd bet with another 10 minutes of light trimming here and there I could get rid of all rubbing.

Your tires choice and exact size will play a big role on whether you have slight rubbing. Also keep in mind not all tires sizes are accurate so look at the manufactures website for exact width's and heights. For example, a 35x12.50r20 (one of the most common sizes in a 35) isn't always 35" tall nor 12.5" wide. They could be up to 3/4" off, just have to look up the exact specs on their website.

DanHC - Fuel wheels are 10” wide... using a ruler, they seem to be 4” on the inside and 6” on the outside.
