2018 HD Vibration

Recommended Posts

Is anyone having vibration issues on their Duramax? Dealership had to replace all 4 tires a week after I bought mine. They told me they had to replace them due to them not being able to road force balance them. They were way out of spec. The vibration is mostly gone but im still felling it at 72-75 goes away at 80+

I have a 2016 2500HD not a dirty max but still had the vibration issues. They road force balanced the tires 2 times and ended up replacing two of the tires. The vibration never fully went away but it is barley noticeable. I have the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracks on it and will never buy another set of them. The tires look cool and have great traction but the poor workmanship in the production of the tire is completely unacceptable. I have several friends that are running other types of tires on their HD's and do not have the vibration issues i have had. Most of them are recommending i go to the Michelin's but that is a pretty pricey tire so we will see. You didn't say what tire you are running but it sounds like Goodyear's.

It's the tires.  I went through this for weeks.  I have Nitto G2's now and the truck is completely smooth.  I tried BFG K02's after I removed the stock Goodyears and they were even worse.
