I used vht night shades ( the spray paint tint) i came out very good, i did 3 coats on tail lights 3rd brake light and lights under the headlights but i only did one coat on the head lights, heres some advice though it says to spray it with clear after the tint drys my experience is the clear gives it a matte finish so i sprayed mine with tint (which still looked great but i wanted a little bit of a glossy look) so i ordered 3m clear vinyl film to cover the lights , one to protect them but two it gives the lights the gloss i was looking for, hope helps i dont regret doing this one second! Do you like the way my truck looks?

Yes i added them the truck did not have any when i bought it, i put them on a switch also in my over head console , i used illuminated round led rockers one is for the cab lights and the other is for the light bar on my bull bar, i wanted to be able to "blink" the cab lights

Nice truck.  I think you should add some tow mirrors as the DL3/8 mirrors look out of place with that lift and the cab lights.  Also it defiantly needs some bigger tires and wheel spacers to match that lift.  I can't stand the offset the factory wheels use.  Some front tint would really pull everything together but I'm sure, like me your area probably has laws against it.

What did you use for the headlights to “black them out”? I’m looking at smoking mine but debating on tint versus spray.

I've used VHT lots in the past but tried out dry application vinyl and would highly recommend it over the spray.  The VHT is not very forgiving and most people have a very hard time getting it even(which really shows when the lights are on)  It also stays tacky for quite a few hours which means your going to get lots of dust settling in it unless you have a spray booth/clean room to work in.  The vinyl is also nice and thick and provides protection for the lights and is easily removable and replaceable if needed.  The vinyl also seems to not absorb as much light as the Spray does.  I only did my front turns and third brake light.  The headlights are very easy to apply the vinyl to since they are very flat.  I had the job done in 30min. It makes a huge difference and I'm supprised more people don't do this mod as it really changed the appearance of the truck.  The Vinyl I used was ViViD dark smoke/black.  The vinyl has been on the truck almost 18months now and is holding up fantastic and looks as good as when it was initially applied.

For me the list of mods yet to come(in order)

-Finish rock light install. (front is done just waiting for aftermarket plastic wheel liners to show up for the back)

-Wheel Spacers 1.25"

-Remove factory muffler, replace all visible piping at rear and replace with stainless. Get a nice 4" tip

-Katskinz leather seats.  ( I purposely got cloth with the intention of upgrading ,because I don't find the factory leather to be very high quality)

-Put some fenix dual color light heads behind the grill.  Will have a synchronized all amber flash pattern and will have the second mode set to solid white to use as takedowns/floods)(not that I need more forward lighting)  Also add some in the rear either under the tailgate or in the step pockets.  Also tossing around the idea of tucking a traffic advisory underneath the sport bar.  The light heads are much thinner than most traditional light bars so I should have no clearance issue with the active shutters.

-Tow Mirrors

-Replace bull bar and bumper with a fab fours offroad bumper.

-Eibach suspension kit.

-New Rims & Tires

Wrapping the various interior trim pieces in vinyl and adding foot well lighting are some cheap mods you can do that add a lot to the truck.  Let me know if you want to see pictures of what I did or need more info.

Truck looks awesome. I love the all blacked out look, hence the reason I’m slowly blacking mine out.

Did you wrap your interior trim pieces? I did mine and it was fairly easy just have to take your time and a heat gun definitely helps.
