Picked up my truck on Wednesday. Connector on the passenger mirror had to be replaced. Everything is working as it should be now. Glad to have my truck back! Dealership handled it with 5 stars.

All those issues from a loose passenger mirror connector...it’s gonna be a long ride ?

New to this forum but glad I found it.  I'm having similar issues with my 19 Sierra Denali.  Purchased it on Oct 1 and since then have had multiple issues.  I've owned it for approx 11 weeks and in those 11 weeks its sat inside the dealerships service bay for 11 days.  Within a week of purchasing it the service brake assist  warning came on.  Scheduled the appt for service but the light went off when I dropped it off.  Was told that GM said to do nothing if the light came on but went off.  A couple weeks later needed to have the steering wheel replaced due to a defect.  In the process of removing the steering wheel they damaged the steering column and had to replace that as well.  A few more weeks went by and service engine light came on again.  Scheduled another appointment but light went off a day later.  After a few more days it came on again so I made another appointment.  The light went off but I still took it in.  Dropped it off last Tuesday and they had it until Thursday night and they couldn't determine the problem.  had me pick it up that night.  Drove it straight home then the following morning started off to work and it it continuously displayed a variety of warnings - service the ESC, service the 4WD, another warning related to the steering and another warning related to the transmission all while also giving low fuel warnings even though I had just completely filled the tank.  On Friday I was told they spoke with GM engineers and determined the ECM needed replaced.  The dealership claims they are still waiting to receive the new ECM but they hope to get it this week.  So for now the truck still sits in their service dept.

  • 2 weeks later...

Grrr. So this morning on the way into work the infotainment screen went out again. Same exact situation as last time. While backing out of my driveway, placed the vehicle in park to check mail and the screen goes black and then develops multicolored lines running vertically throughout the screen.

Dealership notified and an appointment has been scheduled for 3 Jan. I’ll post results as soon as I get them.

Jason - I’m experiencing similar issues as you. Two weeks ago I purchased a 2019 Sierra 1500 Denali and have had multiple issues as well. First, the lane assist wouldn’t function. This literally happened on day 2 of ownership. I took it in for service and they had to get on with techs at GM to figure it out. Nonetheless, they got it working and sent me on my way.

A few days later, all of the sound in the vehicle quit working - no matter what the input I selected. This one hasn’t popped back up yet...

In addition to that, the seat entry memory doesn’t work. So when I exit the truck, the seat moves to the exit position. However, when I re-enter the truck, I have to manually move my seat back into position (by holding the button). I haven’t been back to the dealership yet to resolve this one...

Also, the camera view keeps resetting randomly. So instead of the camera view being on the last setting selected, about 2 out of 10 times when I put it in reverse I have to redo my camera preferences.

And last but not least, today the park assist randomly went out. I had to turn the car off and turn it back on to resolve this one...

Needless to say, I am not at all happy with my purchase. With a sticker price of $68k, these issues are unacceptable. I plan on going back into the dealership this week to get these other few issues hopefully addressed.
