Snowplow kills the dash even after the harness update.

Recommended Posts

Anyone else still have this issue after having the TSB #124h UI Bulletin Intermittent Cluster, Radio and HVAC Display Resets on Snow Plow Trucks installed?   I had mine done in this spring 3/2018. Used the plow once after the update and everything was fine.  Put plow away for the summer.  We had snow yesterday, 11/2018, so I dug the plow out hooked it all up to use and had the issue come back again.  Almost like I never had it done.  I checked the fuse and connections and everything looked good to me.   There was some water in the fuse cap but nothing was corroded.  I cleaned and put dielectric grease to keep water out.

One of the bags of parts left in my new truck was (124x) - Radio HVAC IPC Blank Out When Operating A Snow Plow wiring harness.  I talked to the dealer but they can't find anything related to my 2022 wiring system.  Does anyone have experience with this?

Yes I have this problem 2019 2500hd w snow plow prep package. Had dealer install 8ft. Minute mount Fischer.  After 5 times to dealership since I bought it new. Hooked it up after 2 years without snow and dash board goes off then back on when I use plow. Will be taking it in in March to see if they can fix it or lemon law and lawyer will get involved.
