May 6 2019 dropped off my 2019 Denali for rear windshield leak. They tried to pull and reseal, still leaked.

Ordered new rear windshield and it came in Friday May 10th.

Glassman supposed to install Monday afternoon May 12th.  It's Wednesday afternoon and truck still isnt ready.

Hoping for some good news tomorrow.

It's been 16 days without my truck!??

Hope it's resolved for you. I waited 16 days total and mine got the whole window replaced and that fixed it.

Do you happen to know your build date?

So what has been the fix for those who’ve had theirs repaired? I took mine in on Wednesday and they ordered a new silicone recommended by GM per a bulletin that was sent out on this issue. Unfortunately, the new silicone did not correct the issue.

A new rear window is the definitive solution.

Those windows are straight up defective and should be replaced. Adding extra sealant to a defective window is treating the symptom, not the cause IMHO. Unfortunately your dealer is likely to follow GM's TSB so just sit back, play the game and drive the loaner like you stole it.

But hey, what do I know...only took them three tries to fix mine...the third time being with a new window.

Picked mine up Tuesday. 3rd time was the charm. It’s rained a little here and there since I picked it up and it looks like the issue has been resolved. 26 days total in the shop. GM is also paying my care note for one month.

If only this were as easy as wishing GM would replace the known defective A/C Condensers and Vacuum Pumps on our earlier K2's.

They would rather have two or 3 techs spend a day or more with tubes of silicone to repair rather than install a new rear window.

That is why I am curious what the new tsb says. Maybe they changed it to say replace window.
