Lowering an SS?

How low can you lower a new AWD SS? Since it's basically a 4WD suspension, can it even be lowered at all? Anyone know of a company that makes a kit for it? Also, I've seen AWD Escalades bagged before, but they really didn't get much travel for the amount of work and money involved. Since the SS is like an Escalade undercarriage with a truck body, do you think this would also be the case? I looked at an 03 SS today, and lowered just a few more inches and a set of 22's and you'd have one hell of a nice ride with plenty of power too. Thanks.

If it's like the awd C3's you can get a 3/4 drop out of them

Does the C3 have the same single driveshaft as the SS or is there a carrier bearing? I don't think I could get 4" in back without modifying the rear crossmember. I only have about 4" clearance there now on my SS.
