I have had the issue several times on my 2019 Siverado 1500. A took a photo, attached. Dealer says they can not duplicate. As you can see from pic, the truck is in reverse and the back up cam is not on. After several attempts to restart and clear, I pressed the the traction control switch with truck key in accessory position and it cleared. Dealer still can not duplicate.

I had very similiar problem happen on my 2019 GMC Sierra with 7000 miles. I had parked and when I returned  I found the messages where I had lost most all braking, power stearing and had a dash full of lights telling me all sorts of warnings. I drove it about a mile and parked it and turned it off and back on and the problem continued. I turned it back off the second time and waited about 30 seconds and then heard a "clunking" noise under the dash/hood like a realy etc. had dropped out and it has been fine ever since. That was about 3000 miles ago. When I took it to the dealer for the initial 7000 oil change they found four recalls one of which I think had to do with this problem. The recall was 14121 (# N192210460) eBoost Control Module Software False Detection with DTC Associated - Reprogrammed BSCM per Recall. The three other recalls had to do with the navigation map and trailering lighting. Now the transmission is jerking and slipping and I understand there is a class action lawsuit ongoing about people having similiar transmission problems unfortunately. I have less than 9000 miles on the new truck.

Just had my first issue with my 2019 Silverado at just under 5,000 miles. Same "Service Power Steering / Drive With Care" and "Service ESC" that many of you have reported, but luckily, I had no brake issues or alerts. After power cycling 4 times, I had to drive 10 miles home without power steering, which i hadn't done in years! Finally I got home, and let it sit for a few minutes. Out of curiosity, I started it up again, and found no alerts or issues. Seems to be fine now but I'll call the dealer in the morning so they can check for errors and computer updates.

Well it seems after contacting GM Corporate,  customer care. I now have an appointment to find the problem.  GM representative stated  multiple dealers  have reported this steering problem and the mechanic who witnessed the issue has been tasked with finding the problem. The issued happened to me 2 months in a row on the 4th of the month at almost the same time of day. As my appointment isn't until the 9th I will have video camera in hand on the 4th.

I had my 2019 Silverado parked for about 30 minutes after going into my house to do something before I left again. And when I got in my truck, I turned it on and as soon as I put the truck in drive. All the lights on the panel turned in and the screen where the gauges said “service esc” and also said “brake system failure too speed 62 mph” and as I got scared I pushed the brakes and they did not work. My truck only has 2207 miles on it.  I put all my weight down on the brake pedal and the vehicle continued to roll downhill. I had my 3 kids with me. I have a 3 year old with Down syndrome and I have a 19 year old with a disability. My truck had to roll into a stop because the brakes did not work. I had to get my truck towed to the nearest dealership. They said my truck “lost connection” with itself. Has anybody else have this happen to them?

I had all these problems 31 days in the shop and I am supposed to pick up tomorrow. Chaffed wire on the harness was the culprit hopefully it’s fixed had this happen one time before and they replaced tcm didn’t fix it

I'd be curious to know which wire if by chance they can point it out to you. Maybe it's in a bad location that allows it to rub against something? Be interested to know what all they say when you show up.

I would inspect the work if possible when you pick it up, i remember another forum member on here had work done to their harness and it was a complete hack job from the dealer with what i remember.

Mine just did this today after replacing the wheels. A bunch of lights came on. Had to put alot of pressure on the brakes like the booster was dead. Turned it off about half an hour then turned it back on and the only light on is the CEL and the fact it feels like it has power loss. I have an appointment this Thursday at the dealer but would be able to do standby if I drop it off which I'll do tomorrow cuz this is rediculous especially with a month old vehicle.
