17gmclowlow Posted November 6, 2018 Share Posted November 6, 2018 So, I was extremely impressed with Reklez for offering a 1 stop shop for the 2 piece drive line and cross member for $850.00. I had never purchased a drive line before but after speaking with many who had and quoting out drive lines. It was indeed a well priced item. I only purchased because I was going much lower than the 4/7 kit on my 17 double cab sierra 2wd. When the product showed up, it was well packaged and u bolts and carrier bearing were already installed saving time. It sat in my garage Oct 17th. I simply didnt have the time to install it. When it came time to install, I text the owner as he is very quick to reply. I wanted to know about opinion angle. He replied with "we do not sell 2 piece drive lines for the double cab. After screen shotting the conversation I had with him prior to purchasing the product and asking him (how long it took to prepare and ship for my 17 double cab sierra? He told me 3 days.) He read the message and replied with "oh well we had lots of issues with the double cab." He also said they were sending out quad cab drive lines and they were the wrong legnth for the double cab. He told me I could return it for a full refund if it's been less than 30 days and not installed. I also had to front the return shipping cost of $112.00 and he would reimburse me. Now, I have a couple issues with this. If your company goofs and sells a bunch of products that are too short or too long (not sure which one) and could be dangerous if installed. Why would you not reach out to those customers and let them know of the problem. This confused me because they are very helpful with tech support. And my tubs, shock extensions, monster notches were all very well done. Definitely a frustrating situation. Now I'm stuck waiting on a refund to purchase a new 2 piece drive line with cross member.
