If you are familiar with weather tech visors
The egr are almost identical

Do the EGR’s have the clip for the rear visors like the weathertight does? Or do they stick on like AVS? Any issues installing them? I’ve never had weathertech ones but heard that was the biggest complaint.

Went with the AVS low profile. Very happy. Had them on my previous truck for three years with zero issues. Bought them from real truck.Initially told they were in stock. Floor mats I ordered same day came and a week went by with no visors. Called and was told they were on backorder until 2019. After telling them I was cancelling they “found” some and shipped them.

So has anyone gotten an in-channel wind deflector that they like and fits good?

So far I’ve bought the EGR’s they didn’t seem to fit well on the front windows, not allowing the window to go up. They also had what seemed to be a “fix” of a rough edge, that was fixed with tape.

Ive bout the in-channel AVS and they were completely off. They didn’t fit at all!

Your windows won't roll up at all?  I bought the EGR in-channels as well.  The fit is pretty decent - the front taps the deflector a little when the window slides past them, but not enough to cause any problems.  The back doesn't hit at all.  I am going to try to 'train' the front a little more to keep them from hitting (hopefully).  I don't like the way the fronts sit and 'flare' out a bit near the side mirrors.  This is the first set of visors/deflectors I've owned designed this way, so I assume it's normal.  The fitment was pretty solid - no movement at all once installed.

That’s the way the ones I had fit too. My windows would hit in the front and go back down. I don’t like how they fit around the mirror either. It’s like the design is off. I’ve never had EGR’s so I can’t compare them with anything else.

So the Stampede ones are the same as AVS, actually the same company. I’m not sure what specs they used, but definitely do not fit.

Both the weather tech and EGR were crushing the rubber on the window seals in the front. The driver side actually has a small tear now. I’m not into damaging my truck for some vent shades. Hopefully someone redesigns one of the to fit correctly. Until then I give up.

I’m with you.  I left my EGRs on for now, but they are definitely smashing the rubber on the front window seals.  The small piece of protective tape on the front edge of the deflector helps a little, but probably not enough to stop them from eventually tearing.
