Upcoming updated fluid to fix transmission issues...

Apparently there may be a new transmission fluid that will help some 8 speeds that have issues.   It has something to do wth less moisture in the new fluid, and apparently moisture in the fluid is what causes problems.  Not sure how that would all work, but apparently new fluid will hold less moisture, not sure where the moisture would go, but that’s what I heard from a GM tech who just came back from an 8 speed class.  

 

Hope it works, but unlike this forum, I have not had any issues with my 8speed, it’s awesome actually.   Further more I’ve not seen any issues with the 8 speed except for 2 Colorado’s and 1 Vette, no Silverado’s.
