I received a message that AMSOIL is updating their website on November 15th 2018.  Everyone that has purchased from AMSOIL or is a Preferred Customer needs to contact AMSOIL.  Here is the message.

 

What you need to do as the servicing dealer.

Tell your customers that AMSOIL is improving its website to ease navigation and ordering. But to receive shipping confirmation, order updates, product promotions and other information, they need to have an active, unique email address on file. Either you or your customers can call AMSOIL INC. at the number below to provide that information.

How do I update an email address?

Call 1-800-777-7094, Monday - Friday, 7 A.M. – 7 P.M. CT and provide the information to the Customer Service Representative.

So the email addy we currently have on file by having an account is not good enough? Sure are making more work for themselves by having to do this by phone.

I think what they are wanting to do is just have everyone call in to confirm their email.  They get a lot of customers that do not provide an email and so those customers are not getting the promotion announcement emails along with tracking info.
