Removed the USBs?   I had a Uniden PC122 and scanner installed in my 2015, in the center console.  My mic was “mounted” on the driver’s center vent.  In the picture below, my mic was laying in the pocket on the side of the center console.

When I mounted my mic to the center vent on the driver's side.

This was when I swapped out the "Heavy Duty" spring for the SUPER DUTY, barrel spring.  Saw my shadow a couple days before swapping them out, and my antenna was almost laying down on the bed rail.

Not quite sure what I’m going to do with my ‘18, just yet.  Thinking about removing the center console, and replacing it with a 2014-16 full length center console, cup holder on the '18 does NOT move.

Your install looks pretty nice. I've only had this thing of mine about three weeks. I'm a ham radio operator. Already itching to drill some holes in the truck. First is gonna be a VHF/UHF dual band rig. The antenna will be mounted through the roof, because any place else with U/V is just useless. Hope to get another Kenwood TS-480HX for 200 watt on HF/6 meter, and some sort of screwdriver antenna on a custom mount.

Very clean install, you must do a lot of highway driving to want one of those. I turn the CB radios off at all times when I drive truck because 90% of the highway drivers in Canada are east Indians speaking Punjabi that cant order a Double-Double coffee in English let alone tell you something useful over a static-filled CB radio. We run 2-way radios here, I am sure the localized trucks in the US do too, you can run them on scan to pick up any local chatter with exception to private channels such as large contractors or the police, range is upwards of 30 miles depending on towers and antenna set up.
