Yes I drove it home recently from work so I could finish up the smaller stuff. I still need to take it up to Fathouse for a proper tune on 93. I have a couple things I want to change before hand. I will do a dyno day video with plenty of pics. CAN'T WAIT for that day.

So I wanted to rant for a second. I payed a local performance shop to install a Tooley cam, lifters , pushrods, springs, dod delete ect. This motor was taken out of a 2018 silverado with 3 miles. After getting the motor in the truck I felt like there was a miss. But there was also a lot of questions about the electronics and what might be effects from the flood damage,so I kept delaying a search till more progress was made. My tech buddies kept saying its probably tune related. I found a broken spark plug and that did help. But it was not untill I went to replace the plugs during the blower install that I noticed #4 plug was clean. Telling me it wasn't firing. At that point I tore the valve cover off and found that the guy that installed my stuff obviously used an impact and ran through the rockers quickly and carelessly. In the process he failed to see the pushrod shown in the pics, was not seated on the rocker. It was pinched between the head and remained there unscathed until I found it. I pulled it and checked it for straightness and it was fine. I was mad at the careless way it was done ,but I didn;t bother calling him cause it wouldn't change anything. But I will not by products or do business with him anymore. OK that's my rant

I would go over every rocker and check the torque specs.

Did I miss something? How much boost you going to run?

also don't waste your time with E85 unless your

1- low boost and still want it

2- upgrading fuel system to 6.2/lt1 or better

3-cam increase fuel %32 or better with spring cap (I see the BTR stage 1, but don't know the specs)

It is cheap to upgrade but you have less power per mass. Meth would be better cost and power but there are mixed opinions on meth over the the supercharger rotors.

Yeah I did go back over them. They were definitely hit with an impact. Sure does ruin my confidence in the rest of it tho. I put the 30% increase lobe on the cam. Also it is already a flex fuel truck so no big expense. I will be sticking with 93 unless I get bored and If I stay away from the local track I should be ok. I'm gonna take plenty of photos and videos when I get it on the dyno so stay tuned I may be paying for a clean up charge .lol
