Supplied owners manual is a joke. Online is double the information.

What am I missing?  The one I downloaded, a .pdf file, is exactly the same as the one that came with my truck.  I just like it because the .pdf version is on my iPad so I don’t have to go out to the truck to look at it.  Is there some other manual?

Not on my '23. Supplied manual has 1/2 the info of the online one. Found that out when I looked at the online before picking up truck. Now I have to pour through it to see if the online is up to date.

When I picked up my 23 Sierra my salesman said to me that GM condensed the owners manual and it was in fact a lot less pages than my 19 High Country, he said I can look online for a complete owners manual.

Auto started 2023 At4, it was 91* out and had the hvac set on auto to 74*. My driver side cooled seats were on when I got into the truck, the passenger side was off. When my passenger got in the vehicle the cooled seats automatically came on when they sat down. I thought that was pretty impressive.

Just got the park assist retrofit on my 22 LTZ - when pulling into a tight parking situation it pops the front camera on automatically!

Really? That's interesting. My 2022 refresh LTZ doesn't do this.

Maybe it's a setting? 🤷‍♂️ I didn't change anything when I got it back from the dealer after the retrofit. Or maybe it's only my small garage that gets close enough to trigger it.

My 23 High Country does this too.

I don't know if there is a setting. It did this since day 1.

Nice feature

Depends on setting selected, and depends on how close the truck is to the object.

(there are a bunch of camera view choices)

I sometimes put it in reverse and back to drive to activate the front camera -- instead of getting within 12 inches

1. Front/Rear Standard View

Displays an image of the area in front or behind the vehicle.

To select, touch Front/Rear Standard View on the infotainment display when a camera view is active.

When the hitch guidance is selected, Rear Standard View will remain visible across gear changes, otherwise the view will toggle between Front and Rear Standard View based on gear position.

If equipped, the front view camera also displays when the Park Assist system detects an object within 30 cm (12 in).

To access this view when in a forward gear above 12 km/h (8 mph), select CAMERA on the infotainment display and select Rear Standard View. The view will close after 8 seconds and can be closed early by selecting X, Home or Back.

This is a great thread and I read it all. Appreciate everyone's input.  I wish there was a thread for the refresh trucks that was similar because I am thinking a lot of this does not apply to 22 1/2 up trucks.  Maybe there is a thread somewhere. If so, point me to it :)

Again thanks. I learned a lot that actually did apply to my 2024.
