How exactly does that work? Do you have to install tpms in the trailer tires? How does that connect to the truck?

Yes, have to install sensors in the trailer tires.  Just brought the trailer to my mechanic & he threw them in for me during my truck's oil change.  Then you use the infotainment screen trailer app to set up.  Just have to let a bit of air out of the tires for the sensors to connect to the truck.  There is a receiver behind the rear license plate that they connect to.  Pretty cool!

I was unable to find the feature that automatically turns on my heated seats when the temp is under 40f.

I have a 2020 LTZ Z71 pretty loaded up!

Any advice?

It’s in the vehicle settings personalization. Sounds like the feature is turned off currently.

? sometimes I feel like a commercial pilot getting into my 2019 RST.

Push a button to start it.

Push a button to release the P brake.

Push a button to turn on steering wheel warmer.
Push a button to turn on seat warmer.
Push auto-stop to turn it off.
Push wheel on steering wheel to clear message in DIC that auto-stop is off.

Your post just reminded me of a "feature" that I noticed the other day and it will save you 1 button press (16% increase in efficiency). You don't need to release the P brake with the button. Just put the truck in drive or reverse and the P brake will release as soon as you touch the accelerator.

This turns off the Auto-stop?

If the vent selection is only on feet it will blow on both feet and defrost(windshield).

to shut off defrost you will have to put it on face and feet.

Not sure if this is a cool feature or a defect. Either way.

When you remote start your truck you can get an extended run time (I think 10-15 min longer than normal) by pressing and releasing the lock button and then holding the remote start button. This can only be done after 30 seconds of the vehicle already being started

Actually, you can do it any time during the first remote start cycle and it adds 15 minutes from when you complete the sequence for the 2nd time. For instance, if you remote start and after 10 minutes of run time you press lock and then start it will add 15 minutes for a total of 25 minutes.

Yes correct but it doesn't work if you remote start your truck  and attempt to extend it within 30 seconds of your truck being started.. At least with mine.

But what would be the point of that anyway? Instead of running for 15 minutes on one cycle, you'd only get 15 minutes plus something less than 30 seconds. Hardly worth the effort.

The way I believe it works is whenever you do it it adds the time on to what's remaining. So if you start it and have 14 min left it'll just add another 15 on so it'll end up being 29 min run time. Not sure if it's a safety thing that you can't add more time till after 30 seconds run time. Try it on yours let me know if I'm just going crazy but mine won't work unless my truck has been on for at least 30 seconds

I just double checked the manual and it does state that you must wait at least 30 seconds after initiating a remote start before you can extend.

I have the pro trailering system and the truck came with 4 TPS  for a trailer. I read somewhere where it will support multiple trailers if you purchase more sensors obviously.

Was wondering why there were 4 in the glovebox.
