Do I go the cheap route with Rough Country or Motofab and wear out ball joints, or go with ReadyLift and possibly end up with CV axle problems? I'm interested to know if anyone has had CV axle issues with the Zone level kit. I will be swapping the CV axles and struts back to stock to install the BDS 4” kit when it becomes available later this year. Tried the cheap route and got cheap results. -JH
todd308
Yep, sad reality is GM is already pushing the limits of the CV angles and upper ball joints with the factory 2" AT4/TB. Any more, especially with bigger tires leads to early failure/issues. The only good option is a 2.5+ inch lift that includes a diff drop. UCA's help with a level on the upper ball joints, but that just moves the early failure to the CV joint.
