GM Floor Liners

Recommended Posts

  • 2 months later...

Hi all,

I have the full coverage GMC (weathertech-looking ones). The fronts and rears fit perfectly - no deformation or obstructions.   My rears are the interlocking type (complete coverage front-to-back and side-to-side) and they fit nicely as well. The rears protrude maybe a bit more than I'd like into the door-sill area, but nothing scrapes or rubs.

One thing though... My matts are CoCoa color can develop "white" bend marks and scratches if I'm not careful - not sure that I like that too much.  I know, I know, these things are supposed to take the abuse so the rugs don't - but I am still in the <3,000 miles / park-in-the-boonies phase of Denali 2500HD ownership... :)

I have the full coverage black mats and I carry various items in the back every day  and have seen no signs of white bend marks or scratches and I am at 10K plus miles!

Thanks Doug. There seems to be a slightly but noticeable difference in the "hardness and texture" between my fronts and backs - my fronts don't have any trouble at all (like yours). I'm thinking the rears may be a "bad run" from the factory, as your reply confirms that what's happening to mine is not normal. Easily resolved with my dealer...

I watched the dealer install mine.  The back of the mat has indicator lines where to cut and fit with the storage box.

Anyone know how these compare to the husky product (front and rear full coverage?)  Looking at the GM version for a Trail Boss.  Had Weather Techs in the past but, wondering if these or Husky would be better.

I love mine. Coverage is excellent. Pretty much 100% front and back. I can’t imagine weathertech or husky being any better, but maybe cheaper?

Totally agree mine are great.  There is almost zero carpet exposed.  Best floor mats I've ever owned

I had Husky liners in my 2018 and like the GM liners in my 19 much better. Had Weathertech in my 2015 and while i liked them better than the Huskys, I think the GM liners are superior to them also.

Yeah. The thing with the K2s was that the GM mats didn’t cover beneath the gas pedal for who knows what reason. So they were worthless to me.

Thankfully the GM mats for the 19 have addressed that shortcoming and then some. I especially like the back seat mat. The door to door coverage really lets you fold up the seats and treat it like another part of the truck bed back there. No carpet to be seen.

I have these in my Colorado, and I have ordered them on my new truck.

Does anyone know if they come color matched to your interior carpet by default? I ordered Gideon/Light Atmosphere for my interior and would think black would look awkward. My dealer did not know as it seems this isn’t a common interior color for them to sell (attached is the 1 truck out of about 75 they had with the color in leather)

Yes - they are on the GMC accessories website.

picture is wrong but color in description says “Atmosphere”. - that’s what you want
