2019 Satin Steel Or White ???

GMC-AT

Recommended Posts

Yes...to be honest I could deal with most colors besides black or shadow grey...and regular red.

Cajun red is also sweet. Northsky may be the best...That was actually my first choice...and leaning back to it as well.

In my mind, all the other colors outside of white will require about the same work to keep clean.

Not to repost, but what did you think if this?  I agree white with white grille doesn't look so good.  I like this grill though.

In person I think satin steel looks far less blue than in the pics.

Personally I don't like Northsky Blue very much.  It's going to be a maintenance nightmare as blue is probably the second hardest to keep clean next to black.  I wish they kept Ocean Blue/ Stone blue.

Ocean Blue/ Stone blue is what I have now....it's not too bad to keep clean, middle of the road. However, the Northsky is a little darker.. in return would be worse to maintain. And yes.. probably not much better than black.

The RST above in the GM Authority article is Silver Ice Metallic.

Probably not hard to keep clean either.

GM used to have a Light Pewter Metallic back in the day on GMT800 trucks that was great.

I also liked the Silver Birch Metallic on my '05 Avalanche.

Yeah, I was more referring to the grill than anything else.  I think it looks a lot better than the color match in most colors.

I had a ‘15 white 2500 and loved the ease of maintenance. However I went back to black so I’d go with the satin steel. There is just something rewarding to see the hard work put into a good detail.

I've noticed how some colors look different (usually better) in person, so maybe you could fund a real-life example of the satin-steel to gauge how it looks.  The same color is probably already in use on other GM models.  Obviously silver, white, and black don't require much imagination.  Tough decision, that's for sure.

What color do you guys like better on the RST  - Satin Steel or White?  Again, just talking about these two colors.. and only on the RST with the color coded front and rear bumpers.

White -  https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/748060247/overview/

White! With the weather expected to get so much hotter, obviously worse every year, white is beautiful too. My white Gmc barely hot to the touch versus all other colors.

With white, I see a trend here :D

Man you just ruined it for me...  I love white on a truck.  I will never get this out of my head...
