Thank you diyer2 for posting this! I have tried a lot of different ways to break a tire bead being too stubborn to take the tire by the service station to have it changed. I've tried things like using the bucket edge on the front end loader and even tried installing a bare wheel rim on the vehicle and laying the tire and wheel on the ground under edge of the rim and letting the jack down to try break the bead. All good ways to eat up a perfectly good Saturday. Next time stubbornness hit's, I'm going to try this!
