Transport carrier insurance will cover it.  Now the driver of said transport might be out of a job.


Most companies will pay out of pocket rather than submit a claim.

Mistakes made by drivers often come straight out of the driver’s paycheck.

I'd be surprised if the driver pays, unless an independant contractor. Then he pays or submits to insurance.  

 

It's rare but I've damaged stuff at work and it's the companies responsibility, not mine.

We have a fleet of 50 enclosed haulers, carrying cars across the country literally 24/7.

 

Damage caused by a driver comes out of the driver’s check. Pretty common in this industry.

 

In the transportation industry, making any kind of insurance claim is literally a last resort. Even not-at-fault accidents count against the company.

Drove truck over the road for 13 years, that's what insurance is for.  Shit happens.:driving:
