Frame issues? Anyone else hearing this rumor?

Has anyone else heard anything close to this? I can see how this might be plausible (new frames needing a special wide pucks) but I'm skeptical about frames actually bending and there being a "big issue".

Since this old thread has been brought back to life....

... correct pads are needed.

 

If you don't have the correct equipment and lift something wrong it can cause damage.

Take some pictures of the crack/damage and post it on here. Write it off? Frames can be welded and repaired.

I bought the truck new now 112000km on it general motors not standing over it because i am able too drive and general motors engineer called it knuckle joint
