Unfortunately we do not release any photos until marketing releases theirs.  We do not want to release photos or videos of our vehicle too early.  We have done this in the past and this inundates our customer service and retail channels with calls and requests which we try to avoid early on.  We do have photos of our vehicle with our leveling kit but we have already seen plenty of vehicles with leveling kits and coilovers.  If any of you are local to Southern California you may have attended the Off-road expo in Pomona California.  There were few vendors with coilovers and leveling kits installed on their 2019 gm trucks.

I was honestly surprised by how many there were. Wasn't expecting so many to have stuff made up already.

Fabtech posted photos and information on social media regarding their 6" kit for the 2019+ half ton.  That state "NOW AVAILABLE"

What are your guys' opinion on releasing marketing material stating "now available" when the kit is in fact, not available yet?

You know Joe, I agree that it is stupid that the marketing team and sales team are not on the same page over at Fabtech. It was very misleading to say “now available”.

I do however appreciate that it is at least on their website to generate the excitement. No other lift brand is doing that. I wish that there was a “Coming October 26” or something to that sorts on the particular companies I am eyeing. I think the fact that chaps my ass is that I have e-mailed as well as online chatted and the representatives do not provide a straight answer. Hell I am curious when because I am ready to order so I am pumped about the release. Don’t give me some lame response saying “we currently do not offer anything larger than a level” BS redponse. So I actually commend Fabtech for putting on their website because the other brands have not been that bold.

It's funny you say "coming October 26th".....

Ill tell you what,  if you have any questions on eta dates call me on my office phone or call the number on the ProComp website and ask for me.  I can explain why an ETA date may or may not be accurate.

Man I guess they wanted to be the first. Hmmmm wonder two things with this lift from Fabtech....

#1- what is the difference between “Performance” & “Stealth” shocks besides color?

#2- This lift looks tacky on a Sierra, hows it look on a Silverado?

#1 - I was thinking the exact same thing.  They look the same.  Maybe one is stiffer than the other but idk

#2 - Rough Country has a video that shows what the Silverado looks like with a 6 inch lift

Oh yeah that Rough Country video has been out for a month. The lift looks good on it but was wondering what the Fabtech looked like. I mean I guess could be the same but with rake and angles, who knows if those are slightly different for each company?

The performance shocks are a twin tube design while the stealth shocks are a monotube design.

Fabtech performance shocks are comparable to Procomp ES9000's and Bilstein's 4600's.  (twin tube)

Fabtech stealth shocks are comparable to Procomp pro runners shocks and Bilstein's 5100's.  (mono tube)

To add my .02 cents, the 2 RC videos make the Silverado look ohhh so damn good. I would love to see BDS's setup next. BDS lists on their website they will have a 2019 Silverado at their booth at SEMA. I am just not impressed with the fabtech lift for some reason...

Joe,

You have provided some solid advice so wanted to get your expertise while we are on the subject of shocks.....

There is the age old debate of which shocks are best to use and blah blah blah...

You mention twin tube design VS monotube design in your post. I am not sure what the Fox 2.0 offers but let me ask this....

If I will have a street queen with very minimal offroading, and I was going to choose a lift kit and my choice of shocks (obviously I want a very smooth Cadillac like ride) what would be the best choice?

* The Twin Tube- (Billstein 4600/ Procomp ES9000/ Fabtech Performance)

* The Monotube- (Billstein 5100/ procomp Pro Runners/ Fabtech Stealth)

* Fox 2.0 (Not sure if they are monotube or twin tube)

Thanks Joe!
