Yeh, I’m with ya.  But, I’m old.  When I was a young buckeroo I was into fast cars.  I guess it’s a testosterone thing.  Now, I just want a truck that will pull my camper and not kick out of cruise when climbing a grade.  Hence, the 6.2....

I have an old dashhawk and with slightly oversized tires (which makes the speedometer read slow) I made a couple 5.2 0-60 runs.   Dashhawks moniter vehicle speed through the vehicles speed sensors, so it was more like 0-61ish mph considering the 33" tall tires.

Well, not as trucks were used back in the day.  But, don’t blame the oem’s for high cost of trucks. They’re merely building what customers want.
