I agree with 2,4,6 &7 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

These trucks are already expensive enough. Adding a Panoramic Sunroof would only make things worse.

Who really needs an entire Roof of Glass? Maybe if you ever rolled a vehicle over, it would change your mind.

I had a sunroof in the last two vehicles. I virtually never open the sunroof and hardly ever open the cover. My 1500 doesn't have a sunroof. I guess I saved money?

I’ve got the adaptive cruise control and yet to experience anything other than great performance. Dodge/Ram is absolute garbage and You shouldn’t compare a Dodge/Ram to a GMC product lol.

Just saying... for 2017 RAM is above GMC in reliability and 1500 is the most reliable RAM truck. GMC's 1500 is not. Both, however, GMC and RAM are at the bottom of reliability ladder...

Yeah I wouldn't base your opinion in adaptive cruise on a Ram/FCA version of it.  They have a habit of offering unreliable and defective versions of...just about anything.  Their best bet would be to buy the tech from someone else, like they did transmissions.

This is uninformed. RAM chosen world's best transmission for their truck instead of investing $B in development like GM/FORD (could not do it alone and the last GM effort with 8-speed for a short-lived fiasco). It is a smart strategy on RAM being a smaller up-start manufacturer.

Just a note on transmission: the exactly the same 8HP75 2gen ZF unit is used by Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, Aston Martin DB11, Aston Martin V8 Vantage (2019), BMW 5 series (G30/G31/F90), BMW X5 M (F85), BMW X6 M (F86), BMW 7 Series (G11/12), BMW X5 (F15) and BMW X3 30D (G01). Not a bad company... It was originally developed for BMW V12 engine. If it's good for X5M/X6M and top BMW 7 versions - RAM owners should be ok.

I have found it to be especially useful when towing a travel trailer. Though people will dart in front of you in congested traffic, it's nice to have something that may react faster than you can.

100% agree. ACC is a safety feature, and probably the most important one. If you use your truck as daily commuter (I do) - than it is indispensable. According to GM they will have a level 2 autonomous driving capabilities in 1500 trucks and didn't want to have a partial feature just for one year. Still not having this feature will hurt top trim sales. Remember: Denali/HC/Limited are highway cruisers and daily/family transports most of the time and things like ACC, sunroof, creature comfort, etc. matter.

No sir, 2017 JD Powers gave GMC 1500 4 out of 5 stars only beat by the Honda Ridgeline...hmmmm. F-150 got 3 1/2 stars.

Agree, there's probably a survey for every possible permutations :-) What raises a suspicion flag for me on this report is that Silverado and Sierra got so much different results (being 99% identical trucks). I can't imagine that cosmetics can account for 4-5 places difference.

I didn’t know this, I’m sure a lot didn’t know that GMC actually devotes it’s entire division on nothing but trucks where as Chevrolet shares with multiple models of cars and sometime parts too.

It's a known fact that while Ram uses the same design, they build it themselves under license and use bottom tier parts.  FCA has more warranty coverage issues with the ZF 8 speed than any other manufacture by a long shot.

They bought the rights to make it because Chrysler has never made a reliable overdrive automatic transmission.  Ford and GM designed their own because in the long run, that's how you stay profitable.

Correct, it adjusts for what you are towing. You control the spacing you'd like to keep, but it adjusts the braking distance and also applies the trailer brakes, if so equipped. It's not a prevent-all, but it cna be very useful, especially in heavy traffic, when towing.

I did a bit more research and found it doesn't apply the trailer brakes. Many don't recommend using it when towing, because of this reason. I also increase the default spacing when towing, so maybe that's the biggest benefit I see.

Not a fan of that cluster.  I don't like the design of the analog gauges.  Great video though.  Impressive performance on that off road mode.
