'16 2500 have question.

I tried to use this truck to jump another truck and couldn't get power through the cables, what's I'm a doing wrong?

 

Went to battery & lifted red cover to expose + lead. Attached cable. Cable to Negative on battery. Nothing???

Zero voltage from cables or just not enough current to start the other truck?  

 

Any chance the connection issue was on the other end?

 

Few years ago I had similar situation -- switched to a heavier gauge and shorter length set of cables and the target vehicle fired right up.

Idk.....can't seem to find get charge though cables. I didn't put them on a dvom.
