right front brake grabs

Recommended Posts

The disc pads are  Not sliding in the clips, or the whole caliper isnt sliding on the bolts it supposed to. Probably wore the inside pad and the rotor could be worn and rusty.

When I do  the disc brakes I grind the "tabs" on the ends of the pads so they slide much better in the clips on the caliper holders. Good luck @!

There are two moving parts. The caliper pins, and the caliper pucks. If either of those items are binding, you will have brake drag. The other possibility, is that your rubber brake hose has internal damage.

Its possible that you have other issues, but I doubt it.

The hose failing is fairly common. Rather than leaking fluid, they restrict fluid flow. When you press the brake peddle, fluid is forced past the hose "clog", under about 2,000 PSI of pressure. When you let up on the peddle, the fluid doesn't flow back past the clog because its not under much pressure at all. That locks the caliper puck in place, causing brake drag.
