Most people bought trucks and SUVs because their neighbors did. Later because it’s intimidating driving a car you don’t feel safe down there when the other vehicles sit up high. I drive a truck mostly because that’s what I driven most of my life for work. A big V-8 monster. I been lucky enough that I own different types of vehicles. I believe the perfect vehicle is the minivan. It’s almost like a sports car. It’s quick hauls almost anything. The gas mileage is almost economy car like. Yet I heard soccer mom vehicle enough that I walk past it to my truck. Once I get behind the wheel I get impressed every time. Although I drive it to a different walking park when I drive it. Look at that sissy driving the minivan. When I jump out of the Avalanche I get the thumbs up. Look at that clean old truck. He’s a truck man. The V-8 rumble its like a drug, I need that fix.

No Joke

For the next time someone tells me, "I didn't buy my truck to get good fuel economy". Add, you didn't buy it to haul, tow or offroad either.

Im trading off my trail boss. Anyone want it? I can deliver then fly home for free.  Thanks AA.  So I am trading my truck because I am to crippled to work it anymore. Buying a CARMAX 2015 Nissan Armada that has 10.4" of min ground clearance and will lay back seats down for a van type vehicle.  Seems every dealer wants the trail boss lioke the 4 cylinder turbo cause they don't fail like the 6.2.   Up here it gets near 30 mpg if driven properly.

I'll net about $7500 on the trade.  My GF is leaving me and I'll be alone again.  I don't care cause I am survivorl.

Ok the girl friend thing is a bad deal. Explains the over reaction on my truck thread. I’ve been married over 50 years and can’t imagine losing my partner. So we’ll see how it goes. I was attempting to post a lighthearted thread and it blew up.
