Tire Balancing

OK does anyone goto a nationwide store type place to get your tires balanced???? I have 315's and they need to be balanced. I've gone to the goodyear store, they can't. I've gone to this tires plus place....they can't. I dunno what happend, I got my blazers tires which used to be 35's balanced at NTB and they had no problem, but no one can balance them....I'm about to hit I95 and goto a truck stop. SO if you have 35's/315's or larger....where the hell do you get them balanced. You get em balanced right???

If you've got 315's I assume there is a 4x4 shop around that may be able to direct you.

yeah I finally found a place. Pep boys refered them to me. Hopefully I'll get em balanced and it'll ride like a caddy again.....HA

There's a specific balancer, the Hunter9000... that supposedly does an excellent job on big tires. It sounds like you're near the NOVA area. Wrights Buick and Koons in Manassas both have this balancer. Let me know how it works out.

There is a local place in town that balances Semi tires. They do it all by feel believe it or now and spin balance the tire on the vehicle. Works really well and I never had a problem with them at all. They are a family run buisness that has been open for 40 years or so. Not open on the weekends, their moto is if you can't make a living in 5 days then there is no sense in having a buisness. Needless to say they are packed with customers all week long and have great service. My friend took his 35 Pro Comp mudders there and they did him right, he was happy. So I guess just look around for something that does Semi truck tires. here in NC that isn't a problem.
