2015 GMC Headlights

I’m assuming there isn’t much interest in these lights anymore but I’ll give it a shot. I’m swapping to the 2016/17/18 half ton headlights. My lights are coming off a 2015 GMC HD they do have the led strips but they don’t have the factory HID’s. 400 plus shipping. If interested shoot me a text at two1zero 2zero4 one5five6. You can still get the harness to make these work on a SLE truck at Gen5DIY.

Definitely a nice project to open up and make them your own.

If they come down in price a good bit I would be interested but can swing that especially for a opening up project.

Forgive my ignorance, as I just bought my '14 a month or so ago.  These wouldn't swap right into my front end?

Structurally these are direct replacements, electrically they are not. You will need to modify your existing harness or as the OP said purchase a custom harness from Gen5DIY

Or open up and put aftermarket boards in.

These will. I just sold a 14 that I did this conversion on when I first got the truck. I talked to Gen5DIY today and they did confirm that they still make that harness to make these work on a SLE truck.

Guys 400+ shipping is the price for the lights I don’t think that’s a bad price for these. If they don’t sell it’s not a big deal. They will join other parts on a shelf in my garage. Both of these lights brand new from GM will set you back 1200+ and you’ll pay for shipping on top of that from GM so 400+ shipping for a used complete set is a good price in my opinion for a matching used set. Lights will be off the truck on Sun and ready to ship on Mon thanks guys.

On exactly what the conversion was that you spoke of up a few posts.  What's involved in making these lights work in a '14 Sierra.  You spoke of front end, so I would need to change the front end out?  I was hoping it was a headlight swap.

No you just have to pull the grill off and the plastic lip under the light off to get the headlights out and then you need a harness to make them work in a SLE truck. There’s YouTube videos showing how to do it
