What do you use your Silverado for?

Recommended Posts

Hauling my butt around and running my sales route. Haul a few trailers, bring home some stuff for home improvement projects a few times a year, go on a vacation or two. Even with as much driving as I do, 25-30k a year, I can’t save enough fuel driving a higher fuel Econ car to cover the cost of buying one as a second car plus then I’d have to drive it lol. I’d rather just b in my truck.

Let's see.  I  use mine to goto the gym (2 mile drive), I use it to goto the grocery store (2 mile drive)...  However, I work for an airline and travel about 15-18 days a month, so I uber to work and back.  Kind of makes me think to myself, maybe I didn't really need a brand new truck.  Just hit 1835 miles in 10 months!  Hope this thing lasts 25 years.

Mine is my daily driver, back and forth to work maybe 26 miles total. We use it to go fishing and everything else too. I've hauled 2 pallets of bottled water for my son's high school marching band and also been in a few parades as the safety vehicle for the band also. This October will be 3 years and I just hit 35k miles.

Everything!!  It’s my daily driver to drop the kids off, weekend me and the kids tow the boat throw the wife’s kayak in the bed.  About every other to every third weekend in the summer it hauls our TT anywhere we desire shortest camping trip is 25 min. Longest so far Cherokee SC from MI.   Many sheets of drywall, plywood and various home improvement supplies. I definitely don’t have a truck to just to sit high in traffic.

Someone's eatin' good tonight!   Been years since I've had mallard ... back at a time where people just live and let live, instead of what we have today ...

Might as well post another pic - 9,600 lbs of coal on the 2k lb trailer, then a 2,400 lb. skid in back. :)
