:drool:This gives me a nice tingly feeling inside. Enjoy it! What are you hoping for ET drop in the 1/4?

Well on 93 I am hoping for low 13s high 12s. Once we get it put on and tuned I will have a better guess what to expect. I will know first hand hopefully May 4th what it runs.

There is a member here that has converted his truck from a 6 rib belt to an 8 rib belt. He could probably give you the hook up for the pulleys to do the swap if your concerned about belts, I don't remember his UN but his name though sorry. I was looking into Procharger as a cheaper route than a roots blower, takes an offer big dent out of the Corvette fund so I haven't talked myself into it yet. Keep us posted.

I had a Vortec on a 99 Ford F-150 that I changed the belt every 50K miles, no slipping no problems @ 5lbs boost. My Chevy has a Whipple 5-10lbs boost pulleys highly modified 5 years same belt, no problems.

Very nice. Yeah I am hoping to have the truck for a long time and hopefully it holds up well. :)

For an update on the kit the Supercharger is on. Monday evening going to start on the intercooler, surge system, PVC system, and put it back together and start the tune.

Nice! Cant wait to see the results.

Hey have you thought about about putting a 6.2 manifold/throttle body on? Not sure if it would make a difference with the procharger, but it does move more air then the 5.3 setup.

I happen to have a brand new 6.2 manifold and throttle body from Chevy I'm not using :)

I was actually talking about that with my buddy while we were mounting the supercharger. :)

hmmm might have to think about that. ;)

My next step for the truck honestly will most likely be upgrading the fuel system to handle running e85 and other future mods.
