My GMC Dealership sucks

Three years old and 1st owner never changed cabin air filter and dealer never recommended. Just got back from Dealer today who fixed oil pan leak, told me my clunking transmission was normal, my leaking pinion seal did not exist (Visually can see gear lube being thrown from pinion seal), my lifter tick was normal, my loose and noisy seat is normal, non-working bottom heated seat could not duplicate problem, etched rain drops in paint would not be covered, rusty running board is not covered... Am I missing anything else. These GM Dealers are a joke especially in Murfreesboro Tennessee!

I guess that crap is pretty much standard practice. According to my 'service advisor" at a certain downtown Nashville TN GMC dealer. My dash trim (on a $64,350.00 MSRP truck) sticking 1/4" above the dash pad and pissing me off every time I sit down in my new truck to drive it is "operating as designed"  AAAWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHH Come On Man. I have called GM and gotten a case number I am disappointed in my dealership to say the least and we have not even started to discuss the recent HPFP replacement fiasco  which is still ongoing. Here is a pic of my view every time I drive this truck, I guess this is a dang fine example of GM design/engineering LOL. I even put a paperweight on the high spot for a week and it just popped right back up. Getting mad now just thinking about this!!!!!!!!!!!   IMG_5101.thumb.jpg.f647c14f7885f3690a46dc313892ebf3.jpg

Sounds too bad to be true!  Try establishing a relationship with another dealership.  My cabin filter replacement was recommended and replaced at 36 K kms and coincidentally my pinion seal was replaced when I pointed out the grease marks.  My service advisers at my past two GM dealerships (different towns) have called me by name when I've approached them and have treated me well.  I'm not always delighted when they can't replicate a concern but I make sure my complaint is recorded.  It either gets addressed on a subsequent visit or disappears because I have no outstanding issues with my truck!  If you do find good service, be sure to let them know.  I find genuine compliments go a long way.

Yes I have had this problem to over the years.

Found different dealers where the sales dept. is really good and service dept. is bad or visa versa. Remember that you are buying the truck(or car) not the dealer.

I shop all over for the truck I want.  Then take it to a dealer for service that I have had good luck with.

You do not have to deal with idiots!
