2017 GMC Sierra steering wheel hidden button?

In the logo on my 2017 Sierra there is a button in the G. Anybody know what it does?

Whatever you do......do NOT push it!!!!   I pushed mine and all the body panels fell off the truck.  No idea why that was an option.  ;)

It is the secret transmission programming button to make it shift quick, smooth, crisp and correctly each time! Is this a serious thread? A button, secretly hidden in the center of an airbag with wires attached to it, just think about that for a second... Each day I lose more and more faith in society

yes it is my truck has a little button in the G i never noticed it till the OP pointed it out don't know what it is for but they didn't put it in they to make us wonder

I saw a thread on reddit about this too, doesn't appear to be anything. Just seems like a half ass attempt to fill the hole in the G logo.

It's the front rocket launcher.  LOL, It's just the raised material same as What's inside the C.

It's actually a hidden cam.

 

If you hit "Up Arrow + Check mark" simultaneously on the steering functions you can snap sweet selfies while 4 wheeling ...

It's the automatic tampon remover button. I don't suggest that men push the button while sitting in the drivers seat., because DAMN that hurts.
