Does this guy have a website or something showing what's in the kit?

I was wondering the same thing.

If he's not available, does anyone have a rough idea as to what the glass cutting costs and how much actuslly gets cut?

Rear defroster works?

He hit me back and sells the kits on eBay.

Super responsive and so far, pretty solid.

Looks like the kit, ready to install, is around $1000, which seems pretty reasonable.

That's great news. When I talked to him last he didn't have them on ebay. Also he seems like a pretty good dude. He has a YouTube channel too. I'll see if I can find it again.

Here it is

Do not buy that kit online. The metal is so thin. Go to a local weld shop and have them bend you a pan. I'm out 300 plus dollars. I tried to message him but doesnt get back to you.

Can you elaborate more on why this is a problem? It's a cover for rain water and the window track to go in. Why does it need to be industrial strength?

The tabs were way off that he puts on were way off.  They were not even close to being where they needed to be.  When you mount the motor and regulator. It has enough force to flex the pan. Super thin metal. Ill give you the measurements of what ya need. I'm just trying to look out for everyone. If I am paying that kind of money. I don't want something made outta cheap materials.

That would be great thanks you.

Any chance you have some pictures? (I'm not sure how it mounts and drains)

My question, more than anything, is "what does it take to make the glass fit?"

It seems the parts are fairly inexpensive and readily available, so if I can do it for 500 bucks instead of $1000, I'd much rather do it myself.

Sidebar: is anyone using the factory slider switch or does this require an aftermarket switch exclusively?

I took a switch out of a avalanche and plastic welded it to my factory ceiling console so it looks factory.  When I get my day off on Sunday I'll send pictures and what not.

I ended up going with using the bolts on the factory window. Cut out the inner part of the cab. Cleaned it up and under coated it.

Like I said before I'm just trying to help everyone out and not get rich off of this stuff that anyone can make or have made.

You can use your factory switch. I believe the titan window is $600 on its own.

I see the windows on ebay from time to time for closer to 200. (not sure how complete that is, though.)

I'd really like to see how it all goes together before I start ordering parts, though.

There is lots of videos on YouTube from several different people doing it.
