Good morning all. I am new here, but not to forums in general. I have been looking at buying a '16-18 Silverado 1500 for a bit now, and Saturday I pulled the trigger. I traded my '15 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon in on a '17 LT Z71 with 8,000 miles on the clock for a price difference of about $5,000. So I have a newer vehicle that gets better gas mileage, is more practical, is just a better overall vehicle, and have no car payment. This is my first full-size truck and I am loving it. I had a Colorado about 8 years ago.

Little about me. Total gear head who can't leave anything alone. Generally when I buy a bike or vehicle I already have parts waiting for it at the house.... That didn't happen this time, but I did remove the running boards from this truck on day 2. I have been turning wrenches my entire life, and am currently a service manager at an ATV, dirtbike, side x side dealer. Not much really planned for the truck, but I will be using this place to learn about good power upgrades and get opinions on products on the market.
