That is one expensive mistake, its a $395.00 option from the factory. I would trade the truck in on another one before I would spend that kind of money.

I had the G80 installed in my 01 Silverado shortly after I bought it.  The mechanic bought the part from a local GMC dealer and installed it.  Still holding up and works great.

The truck was a 2wd, 3.42 rearend, 5.3L.
