I assuming dealer installed? When dealer put mine on (bought mine new installed b4 pu) they said they’d be covered under the 3year/36k. If that’s true in your case it’s probably going to depend on the dealership unless it’s obvious it was an installation problem because I’m guessing their going to pull the “you ran over something or hit something” line on you. But if your dealer values you as a customer and their customer service they’ll probably take care of you especially if the flap is salvageable (assuming you picked it up) as all their out is a little tech time. If you installed them your likely SOL.

I know a fella that had a neighbor with a "car/truck chasing" pit bulldog, it chased his truck a few times, it would bite the tires pulling plugs of rubber out and tore off a mud flap. The animal was very quickly diagnosed with a lead deficiency but was over medicated and died. Sad story I know.

I have a 2016 silverado that is under warranty. This morning I made a hard left turn and I heard a dragging sound under truck. My Mud flap came off. Is this covered under manufacturers warranty?

Dealer installed options are covered for 12 months or 7500 miles.

Might be different since I'm in Canada but i was told anything that is installed by the dealer when purchasing the truck or even after you've taken possession, is covered under the warranty of the truck. I say call the dealer and ask.
