I thought you gave a great explanation in your previous post!      "So while backing into a space with your foot mostly on the pedal, easing yourself into the spot sort of feathering the brake pedal.....that will drain the vacuum in the booster."

Today this happened to me as I backed into a parking space my brakes failed.  A curb stopped the reverse motion.  I could not.  No issues going forward.  It’s not an issue you can repeat at will.  If it was a double space parking space I would be replacing a front grill on the unfortunate auto behind me.  Not good.

Great news , My 2017 High Country just did the same in reverse.

luckily I was backing my new Tritoon in the water when it happened.

Scared the crap out of me. Both feet did stop it, and a change of close.

I pulled it over 100 miles forward with no problems. Freaky

GM said it is not a Safety issue. So special warranty is issued.
I can’t use it on a rebuilt with 50000 miles.

Thanks for your input. I now know what to fix.
Reverse only ,Strange!!!
