8.1 emblems

im looking for a silver/chrome looking 8.1 emblem or badge that would like nice on the front doors over the 2500HD emblem. any idea where to find?

I don't know about raised emblems, but I have seen some pretty darn nice decals from our supporting vendor "Decal King".

yes, DecalKing. I had some Vortec 5300 emblems made up for my truck. They rememble the logo on the engine covers on the 8.1's if I recall. Photos available via e-mail on request.

You can order 8100 emblems from a GM dealer. They are made for 3/4T Yukon XL. They are chrome, about 1 1/4" high, maybe 8" long, and say "8100V8". Thought about putting some on my truck, but didn't think they matched anything else on the truck, as they are made to match chrome emblems on the Sierra and Yukon. Just a personal opinion, though. You may like them.
