Two tone or no?

Alright yall im new here and just got a 1980 bonanza. I've been a Chevy guy all my life but I've never had one of these. I bought it cheap and it need a lot of love so expect to see a lot from me on here! I'd like to start off by getting opinions. The bed I have now is solid black and the cab is the original two tone. Should I keep it two tone or go for a solid paint job? I love these original trucks and I would hate to build one that people look at and hate because I did something dumb. Thoughts? ?

If you're intending to restore the truck to 1980 specs then definitely go two-tone.  Vehicles brought back to off the assembly line appearance get my attention more than tricked out vehicles with old bodies!

I'm kind of an old fart at 45 years of age, but I like the two tone. Even during my recent search of a 2001 to 2007 truck, the two tone trucks caught my eye even if they were painted aftermarket. Go for it!

I've seen pics of multiple 2014-2018 GM trucks painted up 2-tone. I really like most of them, not all, but most of them.
