I bought a fuel sending unit repair kit for my 1999 silverado 1500 z71 and am having trouble installing it. I do not see how to replace the wiring on it without splicing them. Any suggestions?

Never mind I read that wrong. I thought you were talking about the fuel pump replacement harness.

I bought a fuel sending unit repair kit to fix the fuel gauge on my 99 silverado 1500 Z71. The kit looks relatively simple and straightforward until you look at the wires, it looks like there is no way to connect them the to inner piece of the fuel pump without splicing them. Any suggestions?

Whatever you do, make a WATERPROOF connection, especially if you live in the rust belt.

I'd use heat shrink crimp butt connectors on that.

Don't have to buy this many if you're not doing this for a living - this is just to give you an idea of what to look for. These here even have solder inside, in addition: https://www.amazon.com/Shrink-Connector-Assortment-Plastic-Organizer/dp/B00B7IIXDA

Not all heat shrink is the same, you want adhesive-lined heat shrink for this application.

I've never seen heat shrink connectors WITHOUT the adhesive.

I've bought them here before: https://www.sherco-auto.com/krimaseal-usa-made-heat-shrink-crimp-and-seal-connectors-and-terminals.html

Del City, and CableOrganizer are a couple other great places for quality stuff.
