Leveled and Factory 20s pics

I love the sport bar, don't really prefer this type of cover, but there's not many other choices, and it was in my price range these days.... Free [emoji23]. This thread is the Gold standard for what works and how to make em work.

Back to the question from the original poster regarding aftermarket UCA's and wider tires...

 

Aftermarket UCA's won't necessarily let you run a wider tire. They maintain upper ball joint angles, increase droop travel (something that is lost by just cranking the stock keys), they aid in maintaining alignment, and obviously they are built much stronger than the stockers...

Hey rickit nice looking truck, just wondering how those tires ride compared to the factory size tires? I had a 2015 GMC 2500HD that I put GoodYear AT 305/55/R20 tires on and they rode really nice but I did notice that they seemed a little squishy and wanted to wonder around the road a little bit, do you experience any of that with the 12.50"X35" Michelins?

Is it because you should have E rated tires? I presume the AT tires are not.

Yep they were E rated at 3,195 pound capacity.

these Michelins ride as good or even better then the factory good years and handle excellent with a load, all though the heaviest load ive hauled with them is my 80 c10, was out in the snow and ice we had here last nite as was very impressed with the traction these tires have
