WTB: Custom Switch Panel

Title basically says it... I want to put a switch panel in the cubby where the Trailer Brake Controller would be.  I've made a couple attempts, but I'm not really happen with them.

I need someone with the tools and skills to make it.    I've measured it out to be roughly 1.5" x 3".  I can fit 4 of these switches in that space pretty well..  https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-24932-85924.aspx

There's a little room to play, but I'd like it sit back into the slot a little bit.

This was my best attempt.  My gripes with it are that the switches didn't latch in place properly because the material is too thin and they're uneven.  If you're interested in fabbing this, let me know and we'll work something out.

Why not make one like this yourself? All you need is the trim piece for a 4x4 with trailer brake, then some switches and switch mounts. This setup was about $30b6f2b49f713d36e2192f8ca76145b76f.jpg

I have 4wd so I could only fit the top two.  I need at least 3 switches.  Also, I don't particularly like those large rocker switches in general.

I want something to make that cubby useful without buying another trim piece and cutting it up.

Btw, I love your videos, man. Nice truck.
Thanks. I seen some guy make one a while back, I have no idea which forum tho lol. I'm sure if you Google it you can find his post.

I’ve seen some fellas mount a couple of these flush mount switches inside on the bottom of the cubby so you would reach into the cubby and press the switch for the light. I like these because you still kind of retain the use of the cubby.

I have a trailer brake so I cannot comment on clearances below the cubby for the switches to hang down but this seems like a viable option.

I’m with you on those giant rockers, too “marine looking” for me.

I kinda wanted the plain rocker switches, but those might work.  They'd certainly be easier for me to work with.

Pretty pricey though, that's a bummer.  Thanks, I'll consider that.  If I only have to drill a few holes, I can (probably) make those straight.  ;-)

I may do that. I got a buddy at work with a 3d printer and we're going to see what we can do with that.
